Role Overview

alfanar is seeking an Architectural Foreman, Finishing to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to overseeing and coordinating the final stages of construction, with a specific focus on the finishing touches that define a villa's aesthetic and functionality. The foreman ensures all interior and exterior finishing work, including plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, carpentry, and fixture installation, adheres to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site finishing work, including plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, carpentry, and fixture installation, ensuring alignment with architectural drawings and client requirements.
• Supervise and manage trades teams to ensure efficient, high-standard, and timely execution of tasks.
• Coordinate with other construction teams to ensure finishing work sequencing is correct and avoids conflicts.
• Conduct final inspections and manage snagging lists, addressing all punch list items prior to client handover and project completion.
• Identify and resolve quality or installation issues in finishing works, providing solutions for site-specific challenges to maintain the project schedule.

Project Coordination and Reporting

• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of finishing materials, verifying specifications and availability, and monitoring usage to minimize waste.
• Develop and manage the finishing work schedule, prioritizing tasks to ensure on-time completion while maintaining quality standards.
• Communicate regularly with the project manager and teams, providing updates on progress and challenges.
• Report issues such as delays, material shortages, or quality concerns, proposing effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, workforce hours, and material usage.

Quality Assurance and Safety

• Ensure all work meets quality requirements, contributing to the development of effective quality control processes and specifications.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Seek opportunities for business process improvements and automation within finishing operations.

Team Leadership and Development

• Train subordinates and foster a cohesive team environment to ensure effective work performance.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to team members across all aspects of their work.
• Delegate assignments effectively and ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain team morale and motivation.

Required Qualifications

• Academic Qualification: Diploma Degree in any relevant field.
• Work Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in architectural finishing.
