Area Manager

About the Role

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking an Area Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading and developing store teams, overseeing retail operations, and ensuring high standards to deliver an optimal customer experience. The Area Manager provides managerial direction to achieve store success and maintain an outstanding shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor regularly to ensure sales and operational goals are achieved.
• Ensure store managers and their staff maintain stores to the highest standards, ensuring organization and proper merchandising at all times.
• Achieve sales targets through a proactive commercial agenda, developing and planning new business initiatives to drive overall sales and business improvement.
• Monitor cash flows, sales performance, inventory control, cash sales receipts, and operating records.
• Ensure all customer service initiatives are in place and resolve issues quickly and courteously.
• Guide Store Managers to consistently achieve key priority targets and goals in customer service.
• Monitor stock control to ensure store shrink is within company guidelines, protecting company property and assets.
• Provide critical analytical feedback on store performance during weekly/monthly trade reviews with the Brand Director.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar leadership role within retail operations.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on managing multiple retail locations within the area.
