The Red Palace, a historic landmark originally built in 1943, has been re-envisioned by Boutique Group as an ultra-luxury boutique hotel in Riyadh. This establishment blends Saudi Arabia’s heritage with contemporary sophistication, offering meticulously restored architecture and curated cultural experiences. We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Banqueting Manager to join our full-time team, contributing to unparalleled service delivery.

Role Overview

The Assistant Banqueting Manager supports the Banqueting Manager in the daily operations and strategic management of the hotel's banquet and event facilities. This critical role ensures the efficient and profitable running of event spaces, delivers exceptional client experiences, and contributes to the overall success of the catering and events department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Banqueting Manager in developing innovative event concepts and packages that align with the hotel's positioning.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of all banquet and event functions, serving as a primary point of contact for clients and ensuring seamless collaboration across hotel departments.
  • Monitor event bookings, client details, and logistics, communicating effectively with clients to address their needs.
  • Support the day-to-day management of event spaces, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory control.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to event operations and provide data-driven insights.
  • Contribute to strategies for maximizing revenue and profitability for the banquet and event spaces.
  • Monitor event pricing, costs, and sales performance, providing recommendations to the Banqueting Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and regulatory standards within event operations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and staff, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Service Standards and Brand Alignment

The Assistant Banqueting Manager is expected to embody the brand's commitment to emotional luxury and elegant, discreet service. This includes maintaining impeccable grooming, demonstrating charm, grace, and thoughtfulness, and anticipating guest needs through warm, genuine, and intuitive service. The role involves ensuring quality across all public touch points, fostering a client-centric culture, and establishing the hotel's reputation for quality service within the local community.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Banquet Manager or in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
