About the Role

PHRS Hospitality Experts is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager SARK to join a premium dining concept in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is suitable for a hospitality professional with strong leadership capabilities and a focus on guest service within upscale, fine dining, or luxury restaurant environments.

Role Overview

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations. Key responsibilities include ensuring an exceptional guest experience, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to team performance and operational efficiency. The role involves leading the front-of-house team, coordinating daily service, and fostering a professional environment for both guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
• Lead and supervise the front-of-house team during service.
• Ensure consistently high standards of guest service and hospitality.
• Maintain a strong floor presence and proactively engage with guests.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service operations.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily priorities to the team.
• Support the training, coaching, and development of restaurant employees.
• Monitor team performance, grooming, presentation, and service standards.
• Assist with staff scheduling and operational planning.
• Support inventory control, stock management, and cost-conscious operations.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and company procedures.
• Support upselling initiatives and contribute to achieving revenue targets.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• 5-10 years of experience in upscale, fine dining, or luxury restaurant environments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Demonstrated passion for guest service and hospitality.
• Ability to maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency.
