About the Role

Boutique Group is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position supports the Restaurant Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The role involves leading the front-of-house team, maintaining service standards, and ensuring compliance with quality, hygiene, and financial controls. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will contribute to upholding the high standards of this distinguished establishment.

Key Responsibilities: Operations and Service

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in daily outlet operations, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards and sequence of service.
  • Lead floor operations during service, managing pacing, table allocations, reservations/walk-ins, and peak-time guest flow.
  • Ensure guest recognition for VIPs and repeat guests, handle special requests, and oversee service recovery when necessary.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and ensure team readiness, including grooming, product knowledge, section setup, and service priorities.
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure quality, timing, and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
  • Ensure cleanliness, ambiance, and overall outlet presentation, including music, lighting, table setup, and side stations.

Operational Excellence and Financial Oversight

  • Assist in collaborating with the Restaurant Manager to develop innovative menus and dining concepts that align with the hotel's positioning.
  • Help ensure consistently high-quality food, beverage, and service across the restaurant.
  • Monitor guest feedback and contribute to addressing any issues or concerns promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Support the cultivation of a guest-centric culture among restaurant staff, emphasizing personalized service and attention to detail.
  • Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in contributing to strategies for maximizing revenue and profitability, monitoring pricing, food cost, and sales performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and regulatory standards within the restaurant, maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably within a luxury hospitality setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead front-of-house teams and maintain high service standards.
  • Strong understanding of operational policies, financial controls, and health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to embody the brand's commitment to elegant, discreet, and intuitive service, ensuring quality is consistently upheld.
