About the Role
Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for a full-time position in Makkah. This role is central to managing the daily operations of a hotel dining outlet, with a focus on delivering memorable experiences for every guest and upholding the high standards of hospitality.
Operational Oversight
The Assistant Restaurant Manager assists with the comprehensive management of the dining outlet's operations. This includes overseeing guest service standards, ensuring product quality, and managing inventory. The role also involves implementing cost controls, monitoring profitability, and enforcing established policies and procedures to maintain operational excellence.
Guest Experience Enhancement
A key aspect of this position is to enhance the overall guest dining experience. The Assistant Restaurant Manager collaborates with the Restaurant Manager to continuously monitor service and product quality. This includes actively addressing guest feedback, resolving any issues promptly, and supporting initiatives aimed at improving the dining experience.
Team Leadership and Development
This role involves significant contributions to team development and management. Responsibilities include supervising and supporting team members, providing coaching, and assisting with performance evaluations. The Assistant Restaurant Manager also contributes to professional development initiatives under the guidance of the Manager, and assists in the hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new team members to ensure high service standards.
Compliance and Revenue Support
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for upholding all regulatory standards, including health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, to ensure the wellbeing of both guests and team members. Additionally, the role supports revenue initiatives by helping to implement marketing strategies, up-selling techniques, and various promotions designed to boost food and beverage sales.
