We are seeking an Associate Commercial Director to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Role Purpose

The Associate Commercial Director will be responsible for leading commercial and contract management activities across all project stages. This role involves acting as a senior commercial contact, building key relationships, and contributing to business development while supporting the growth of the local commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and contract management throughout pre- and post-contract stages.
• Administer FIDIC and NEC contracts, including valuations, payments, variations, and final accounts.
• Manage change control processes, claims, extensions of time, and loss & expense.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Lead procurement and tendering activities, including strategy development, analysis, and recommendations.
• Provide advice on commercial risks, contingencies, and value engineering.
• Serve as the senior commercial contact for clients, contractors, and design teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with KSA clients, contractors, and public sector stakeholders.
• Support business development initiatives, bids, and opportunities to expand existing commissions.
• Mentor Quantity Surveying (QS) and Assistant QS staff, contributing to the growth of the Riyadh commercial team.
• Ensure compliance with RICS standards and internal quality procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
• MRICS qualification with 10+ years' post-qualification experience, ideally in data centres.
• Strong experience in FIDIC contract administration, including claims, variations, Extensions of Time (EOTs), and dispute avoidance.
• Proven experience in procurement, tendering, cost planning, forecasting, cash flow management, and risk management.
• Experience in bids, fee proposals, business development, and pipeline growth.
• Strong team management, mentoring, and quality assurance experience.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Good understanding of the KSA construction market, local regulations, and PIF-backed giga-projects.
• Strong senior client and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with cost management/reporting platforms.

Work Location and Eligibility

This full-time position requires the successful candidate to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with full eligibility to work in KSA.
