Associate Service Technician

About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking an Associate Service Technician to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves performing essential maintenance, repair, and installation activities, working closely with a mentor to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventative maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing activities.
• Work collaboratively with a mentor to enhance skills and achieve customer satisfaction.
• Address and resolve issues or problems in existing systems and processes, making minor necessary changes.
• Explain facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• A 2-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• An Associate's Degree or Technical Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required, with 4 years suggested.

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to deliver output according to specific operational targets.
• Proficiency in identifying and resolving problems within a defined job area or discipline.
• Application of specialized knowledge in commercial, technical, or trade operations.
• Effective communication skills for explaining technical information to various parties.

Work Environment and Scope

This is an individual contributor role with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is primarily domestic, limited to locations within the country or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts. The role involves addressing problems that are generally well-defined within a single job area, though occasionally may require understanding broader implications.
