Service Technician

About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Service Technician to join our team in Al Khobar. This full-time role involves the installation and commissioning of system field devices, along with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in existing systems. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Install basic required system field devices using standard configuration tools.
• Commission systems effectively with standard commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
• Respond to basic warranty calls and address customer concerns.
• Keep Johnson Controls Arabia, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any emerging issues.
• Correct or resolve issues and problems within existing systems and processes, including making minor changes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Associate's Degree or Technical Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience, with 4 years suggested, in a related technical field.

Role Dynamics

This role requires the individual to deliver output according to specific operational targets. The Service Technician will frequently explain facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external parties. Problems and issues encountered generally fall within a single job area or discipline with a well-defined scope. Less frequently, problems may be vaguely defined, requiring consideration of other job areas. The position primarily utilizes specialized knowledge of specific commercial, technical, or trade operations, with less frequent application of broad theory or advanced technical practices. This is an individual contributor role with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is limited to locations within the country or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts.
