About the Associate Solutions Engineer Role

Cisco is offering an opportunity for individuals to join the Cisco Sales Associates Program (CSAP) with a focus on roles in Saudi Arabia (KSA). Program Structure and Locations

The CSAP program includes a structured progression over approximately 12 months. The initial training phase is located in Bedfont Lakes, London, for the first year. Following this, the role will transition to Saudi Arabia (KSA), specifically in Riyadh, for the second year. The target start date for this program is March 1, 2027.

Training and Development

During the first year in Bedfont Lakes, participants will engage in immersive training and foundational technical skill-building. This period includes three rotational assignments to gain real-world technical sales experience. The program emphasizes experiential growth through mentored activities, AI customer simulations, and collaboration with peers. Participants will work with Associate Sales Representatives to develop technical solutions, expanding expertise across Collaboration, Security, Networking, and Cloud technologies. Learning is facilitated by industry experts and coaches, utilizing Cisco's technology. Each participant will be paired with a mentor who is a CSAP alumnus. The program aims to develop individuals into Technical Sales Champions, with opportunities to earn industry-standard certifications.

Role Progression and Impact

The CSAP Graduate Program is a 12-month accelerator focused on Education, Exposure, and Experience. The initial months are dedicated to foundational training, followed by practical assignments. Beyond the 12-month program, individuals will transition into a Solutions Engineer role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this capacity, they will be responsible for discovering, demonstrating, and designing solutions to address complex customer challenges. The program incorporates an AI-First Mandate, requiring participants to build strong AI skills using advanced learning platforms and artificial intelligence for solution design and decision-making. High-performers may have opportunities to advance into further technical roles before the program concludes.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in immersive Bootcamp training and foundational technical skill-building (Months 1-3).
• Complete three rotational assignments for real-world technical sales experience (Months 3-12).
• Transition into a Solutions Engineer role in Saudi Arabia to discover, demonstrate, and design solutions for complex customer challenges (Beyond 12 months).

Qualifications and Requirements

• A technical degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other STEM fields, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating technical curiosity (*, home lab, certifications, side projects).
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic.
• Legal authorization to work in the country of hire without requiring company sponsorship.
• Willingness to relocate to Bedfont Lakes (London) for the 12-month training period.
