About the Presales Engineer Role

Logicom Distribution is seeking a Presales Engineer Dell to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on providing technical expertise and support for Dell products and solutions, operating from our offices in Riyadh.

Role Overview

The Presales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and aligning technology opportunities with customer business issues and objectives. A key aspect of this role also involves channel partner training and enablement, ensuring partners are equipped to effectively represent Dell technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide presales technical support throughout the sales process for various products and solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to assess the potential application of products in meeting customer business needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations on the products' value proposition, both remotely and at customer locations.
• Build complex, multi-product proof-of-concept solutions for customer evaluations as part of the sales engagement process.
• Leverage product knowledge to offer technical expertise to internal sales teams, partners, and end-users.
• Develop customer requirements that map to solutions, assist in overcoming technical and competitive objections, and accelerate the technical evaluation component of the sales cycle.
• Utilize the consultative sales process with prospective users to determine product capability assessment and validation relevant to the technical sales process.
• Address issues that impact design or selling success, and contribute to discussions on future concepts, products, or technologies.
• Establish formal networks with key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
• Serve as an external spokesperson and advocate for the brand's vision and associated technologies.
• Advise on and deliver appropriate partner training and enablement sessions.
• Maintain relevant skills and certifications for the brand and professional development.
• Stay current with the brand's new and competitive technologies.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in a presales technical support role, with a specific focus on Dell products and solutions. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent presentation and communication skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with sales teams, partners, and end-users to address complex technical requirements.
