About the Role

Saudi Airlines Catering Company is seeking an Asst. Team Leader to join our full-time operations team in Riyadh. This role is central to overseeing catering operations, ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards, and coordinating the intricate processes of flight assembly and dispatch. The ideal candidate will bring 2-5 years of relevant experience to this dynamic environment.

Operational Oversight

The Asst. Team Leader is responsible for the seamless execution of catering services, from initial preparation to final dispatch. This involves proactive monitoring of operational communications, ensuring rapid response to changes, and maintaining high standards across all stages of flight provisioning. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a team effectively to meet critical deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate immediate actions for aircraft changes and new setup requirements.
• Monitor the telex printer continuously and respond appropriately to incoming information.
• Ensure all staff are informed of updates in DIFOS, packing lists, and instructions from Saudia/Foreign Airlines regarding standards and packing patterns.
• Maintain meticulous records of all operational documents.
• Communicate procedural and standard changes to staff and manage additional tasks assigned via IOCs/Emails.
• Conduct thorough shift handovers, utilizing a Logbook and briefing the incoming Senior Foreman on operational status.
• Assign staff for flight assembly to meet deadlines and perform necessary flight checks.
• Verify that all provisioning and assembled items for flights conform to the loading/production plan.
• Oversee the preparation and signing of food load sheets and security checklists by responsible individuals.
• Address up-catering requirements promptly and meticulously check items before dispatch to aircraft.
• Coordinate with Supervisors from Assembly and Transport to ensure timely availability of transport.
• Liaise with Beverage, Kits, Tray Setting, Equipment, and Food Packing Sections to ensure smooth assembly operations.
• Confirm that only authorized items are dispatched on flights and that all security checklists are duly completed.
• Provide required assistance to the VIP Cell as directed by the Assembly Supervisor.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support the company's operations.

Compliance and Company Policies

• Adhere to all regulations stipulated by the Saudi Labor Law and internal company policies.
• Comply with Cybersecurity policies and procedures, including the protection of user devices, internet, software, systems, and email.
• Handle data and information strictly according to their classification levels.
• Ensure no violation of intellectual property rights, including copyrights and patents.
• Utilize CATRION information and technical assets exclusively for business purposes, in line with the acceptable use policy.
• Obtain necessary permits from the security department or authorized personnel before hosting visitors in sensitive company areas.
• Report all Cybersecurity incidents promptly.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant operational or catering management role. This experience should demonstrate a proven capability in overseeing complex logistical operations, managing teams, and ensuring strict adherence to quality and security protocols within a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring active participation in a dynamic operational setting. The role involves close coordination with various departments to ensure the efficient and compliant delivery of catering services.
