The Backend Engineer II Role

We are seeking a Backend Engineer II to join our team in Riyadh. This role involves contributing to the scaling of systems that underpin Tabby's core products. The position offers an opportunity to work on projects with significant impact within a high-growth environment, collaborating with a remote engineering team distributed across more than 20 countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the scaling and optimization of Tabby's core product systems.
• Develop and maintain scalable, distributed systems designed for high-load architectures.
• Integrate third-party APIs to enhance product functionality.
• Actively participate in the product development lifecycle.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

Required Qualifications and Technical Skills

• Backend engineering experience, ideally with commercial experience in Golang.
• Proven experience in building scalable, distributed systems and working with high-load architectures.
• Solid understanding of backend tools and technologies, including PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, GitLab, and microservices architecture.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).
