About the Role

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Banquet Assistant Manager to join its team in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and focuses on ensuring optimal service delivery and guest satisfaction within banquet operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure staff collaboration for optimum service and guest needs fulfillment.
  • Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
  • Execute opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing areas.
  • Monitor storage areas for organization, adherence to FIFO, and cleanliness.
  • Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
  • Oversee dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, and guest well-being and safety.
  • Submit work orders for maintenance repairs.
  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, and motivation of employees.
  • Serve as a role model and initial contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
  • Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
  • Ensure professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
  • Welcome guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
  • Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns appropriately.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
  • Capability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
  • Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Capability to navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
  • Ability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
  • Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

General Expectations

The Banquet Assistant Manager will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors, ensuring operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
