Bartender (Saudi National)

About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton in Riyadh is seeking a Bartender (Saudi National) to join their team. This full-time position involves preparing and serving drinks according to established recipes, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders for guests following specified recipes and using precise measuring systems.
• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks and stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Transport supplies to the bar set-up area and wash soiled glassware.
• Remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables, placing them in designated areas.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs for supplies.
• Process all payment methods, count the bank at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.
• Secure coolers, cabinets, and storage areas, and complete all closing duties.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training.
• Ensure a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, develop positive working relationships with colleagues, and support team goals.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and move over uneven or slippery surfaces, including stairs and ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
