About the Role

LONGi Solar is seeking a BESS & PV Sales Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to supporting the sales process, from initial pre-sales activities to developing comprehensive solution strategies for clients.

Role Purpose

The BESS & PV Sales Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of tailored solar PV solutions that precisely meet customer requirements. This involves acting as a key technical and strategic resource throughout the sales cycle, from understanding initial needs to validating final system configurations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose tailored solar PV solutions. Conduct site assessments (remote or on-site) and feasibility studies. Prepare technical proposals, system designs, and cost-benefit analyses. Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations to clients. Assist in tender preparation and respond to RFPs/RFQs.
  • Mid-Sales Engagement: Act as the technical point of contact during the sales process. Customize solutions based on evolving client feedback and site-specific constraints. Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to validate system configurations. Support contract negotiations with technical inputs and risk assessments.
  • Solution Sales & Product Strategy: Stay updated on the latest solar PV and BESS technologies, including inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling complementary products such as energy storage and EV chargers. Collaborate with product development teams to refine offerings based on market trends and customer feedback. Support marketing with technical content for brochures, datasheets, and case studies.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in BESS and PV sales or technical roles.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (30% or more) to support sales activities and client engagements.

Compensation and Work Environment

This position offers a competitive salary structure, complemented by a success-based variable component. The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires regular travel to fulfill its responsibilities.
