About the Role
First Access Consulting is seeking a Bid Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in bid management, particularly within the technology or related sectors.
Role Overview
The Bid Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end process of bid preparation and submission. This role involves close collaboration with various internal departments to ensure all bid requirements are met accurately and on time, while also ensuring technical solutions are feasible and compliant with all relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and submission of bids, ensuring compliance with client specifications, tender requirements, and deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, finance, technical, and legal to gather all necessary input for bid preparation.
- Manage the submission process through platforms such as Etimad and SAP Ariba, ensuring accurate and complete document submission.
- Review bid documents for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements.
- Interface with engineering teams to shape solutions related to IoT architecture, Connectivity (5G, LPWAN, Satellite), AI & Data platforms, Command & Control Center integration, and Cybersecurity frameworks.
- Ensure the feasibility and delivery readiness of proposed solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, and regulatory standards.
- Address client queries related to bid requirements and ensure clear understanding of expectations.
- Conduct basic market research to identify relevant opportunities and gather competitor information.
- Provide feedback and lessons learned to improve the efficiency and quality of future bids.
- Assist in formatting, proofreading, and finalizing bid documents for professional presentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- PMP or APMP certification is considered an advantage.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in bidding, preferably within the same or related industries.
- Demonstrated track record in managing bids on platforms like Etimad and SAP Ariba.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Word and Excel.
- Preferred skills in formatting, layout design, and presentation of bid documents.

- Ability to manage multiple bids concurrently and meet stringent deadlines.
- Effective communication and coordination skills across diverse teams.
