About the Role
Lifera is seeking a Board Affairs Director to manage the operational, logistical, and administrative functions of its Board of Directors. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires over 10 years of experience. The role serves as a key link between Executive Leadership, the Board Chair, and Board Members, ensuring efficient meeting execution, comprehensive director support, agenda coordination, and accurate board documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end operational planning and execution for all regular, special, and annual Board and Committee meetings.
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to define meeting agendas, align strategic priorities, and track open action items.
- Direct all meeting logistics, including venue selection, catering, travel arrangements, technology setup, and digital board portal administration.
- Ensure high-quality Board materials (decks, background briefs, executive summaries) are collected, formatted, and distributed securely on schedule.
Director Relations and Onboarding
- Act as the primary point of contact for Board Directors regarding schedules, requests, and administrative support.
- Design and manage the operational orientation and onboarding process for new Board Directors.
- Coordinate director attendance, compensation processing, expense reimbursements, and travel arrangements.
- Organize Board retreats, dinners, and off-site strategic sessions.
Documentation and Board Communications
- Draft, finalize, and archive accurate official Board meeting minutes, resolutions, and decision logs.
- Maintain organized, centralized corporate records, board rosters, committee memberships, and historic meeting archives.
- Facilitate clear, timely communication channels between C-Suite executives and Board Members between formal meetings.
- Manage secure access and permissions within the board portal software.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in board affairs or executive support.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex operational, logistical, and administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with executive leadership and board members.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring dedicated support to the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership.
