BT Development Senior Specialist

About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a BT Development Senior Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves understanding business needs, developing and configuring applications and systems, and ensuring their efficient delivery to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
• Communicate with business operations to identify and clarify business needs.
• Analyze business needs and support the introduction of matching solutions.
• Monitor local and international trends and best practices in banking operating systems, proposing relevant improvements.
• Design applications according to the Bank’s BT architecture.
• Develop or modify applications, ensuring alignment with business requests and architectural design.
• Control and configure systems and applications accurately, defining required parameters and adjustments.
• Participate in application testing to confirm efficiency and accuracy before production release.
• Support the identification of suitable vendors for external application development.
• Monitor application efficiency, perform maintenance, and configure as needed.
• Monitor and resolve complicated system/application malfunctions reported by the Services Center.
• Document all interventions and developments to systems and applications for knowledge management.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous process and practice improvement.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate reports.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in BT development and system configuration.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations within Riyad Bank.
