About the Role

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is seeking a Business Continuity Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves executing and embedding ADCB’s KSA Business Continuity Framework (BCM) to ensure resilience against major incidents or disruptive events. The position requires 2-5 years of experience.

Group Risk Management Overview

ADCB's Group Risk Management prioritizes a disciplined approach to risk, which is fundamental to the Bank’s long-term organizational and financial resilience. This department oversees the implementation of ADCB's risk objectives, identifies and addresses gaps in the bank's risk infrastructure, and fosters the independence of the risk function. It also establishes provisioning policies, promotes risk awareness among front office personnel, and manages ADCB's portfolio and associated risks according to international standards, while cultivating a clear risk culture across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and embed ADCB’s KSA Business Continuity Framework (BCM) to ensure preparedness and resilience for major incidents or business disruptive events, in accordance with Group Policy, good practices, and local/international standards.
• Design, execute, and embed the business continuity policy, framework, and standard operating procedures to safeguard ADCB KSA.
• Recommend and implement the ADCB KSA BC strategy by initiating business impact analysis with business units to identify process risks and mitigation strategies.
• Execute the KSA BCM Framework and BCM lifecycle in adherence to international standards to embed business continuity and organizational resilience.
• Provide second-line defense support and guidance to business unit heads and BC coordinators in developing BC Plans.
• Identify training needs, design, and deliver BCM training and awareness to employees to promote a risk management and compliance culture.
• Create BCM metrics and obtain data to measure and monitor performance of the Business Continuity Framework.
• Formalize and execute ADCB KSA business continuity plans, followed by periodic tests and audits to validate plans and ensure recovery objectives are met.
• Review new and existing products, processes, procedures, and vendors to assess BCM risks and recommend remedial actions.
• Conduct periodic BCM identification and assessment exercises to ensure all risks facing ADCB KSA are identified and addressed.
• Deliver management and leadership reports on the status of BCM to keep internal stakeholders informed.
• Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies to maximize contribution to business performance.
• Contribute to the preparation of the business area’s budget and monitor financial performance against it.
• Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance and delivery of best-in-class services.
• Identify, assess, and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance organizational resilience and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and monitor financial performance against a budget.
• Experience in developing and delivering training and awareness programs.
