Business Development Manager Middle East Central Asia & North Africa

Role Overview

Gotion High-Tech is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa region. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focuses on driving the company's energy storage business through market development, key account management, commercial negotiations, and major project acquisition. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop regional market strategies and identify target markets, customers, and business opportunities.
• Build and manage relationships with key customers, utilities, developers, EPCs, and strategic partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and project acquisition activities.
• Drive major opportunities from initial engagement through commercial closure, while managing order fulfillment and payment risks.
• Deliver sales, revenue, and margin targets for assigned markets and accounts.
• Monitor energy storage market policies, competitive landscape, customer needs, and technology trends.
• Coordinate with technical, project, delivery, and other internal teams to support customer requirements and project execution.
• Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, customer workshops, and other market activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above; an engineering or other technical background is preferred.
• Proven experience in regional market development, key account management, and complex commercial negotiations.
• Strong ownership and ability to independently develop customers and drive projects to closure.
• A good understanding of the energy storage and renewable energy markets in the Middle East, Central Asia, or surrounding regions is preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively or be based in the region.
