About the Business Development Manager Role
RAWAJ is seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join its full-time team in Riyadh. This role is central to driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding the customer portfolio. The manager will focus on increasing revenue, strengthening market presence, and supporting the company's growth strategy across the Saudi market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development plans aligned with company growth objectives and market expansion strategy.
- Identify, approach, and secure new corporate clients, strategic partners, and business opportunities within the travel and tourism sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, government entities, and strategic partners to ensure long-term business success.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify emerging industry trends to uncover new revenue opportunities.
- Achieve sales targets by preparing commercial proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing high-value business deals.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to ensure successful onboarding and delivery of client requirements.
- Prepare regular business development reports, sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market insights for senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, exhibitions, and client meetings to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience within Travel Solutions, Travel Technology, Tourism, Aviation, Destination Management Companies (DMC), Online Travel Agencies (OTA), Corporate Travel, or Hospitality is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, negotiating commercial agreements, and achieving revenue growth.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of the Saudi travel and tourism industry, corporate sales, strategic partnerships, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, sales reporting tools, and data analysis.
Work Environment and Location
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic team focused on expanding RAWAJ's market presence and achieving strategic growth objectives.
