Job Description
About the Role
ONFTECH AL ARABIA is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join its growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, supporting lead generation, and managing client communication. The specialist will build strong relationships with banks, fintechs, and strategic partners, supporting the end-to-end business development lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure, while receiving guidance from senior BD leadership.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and support new business opportunities across banks, fintechs, and enterprises.
- Build and maintain client relationships under the supervision of senior Business Development staff.
- Participate in client meetings, present solutions, document requirements, and follow up on action items.
- Maintain ongoing client communication and ensure timely delivery of documents, proposals, and follow-ups.
- Help identify additional opportunities within existing accounts.
Sales Cycle Support and Market Engagement
- Assist in lead qualification and opportunity tracking, ensuring proper use of CRM and BD tools.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, MoUs, and commercial documents.
- Support negotiations by gathering information and coordinating necessary papers.
- Conduct focused market research and maintain awareness of fintech and RegTech trends.
- Develop working knowledge of SAMA, CMA, ZATCA, and related regulatory environments.
Internal Collaboration and External Representation
- Work closely with Product, Projects, and Tech teams to effectively relay client requirements.
- Represent Onftech in exhibitions, workshops, and external meetings.
- Support marketing initiatives, including content creation, case studies, and branding activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in a relevant business development or sales role.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi banking ecosystem, regulatory environment, and key stakeholders (SAMA, CMA, ZATCA).
- Proven track record in enterprise sales cycles and closing B2B deals, preferably with banks or financial institutions.
- Experience in responding to RFPs/RFQs, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Good knowledge of financial systems, digital banking, regulatory technology, or enterprise software solutions.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel within and outside the Kingdom as per business needs.
