About The Ritz-Carlton and the Butler Supervisor Role

The Ritz-Carlton, a global leader in luxury hospitality with over 100 award-winning properties, is seeking a Butler Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is integral to upholding The Ritz-Carlton's renowned "Gold Standards," ensuring exceptional experiences are delivered with grace and thoughtfulness daily. Core Operational Responsibilities

  • Process all guest check-ins, including identity verification, payment confirmation, room assignment, and key issuance.
  • Establish accurate guest accounts based on individual requirements and enter Marriott Rewards information, ensuring rate alignment with market codes.
  • Secure payment before issuing room keys and manage billing adjustments.
  • Compile and review daily reports, logs, and contingency lists.
  • Complete cashier and closing reports, balance and drop receipts, and manage the bank at the start and end of each shift.
  • Obtain manual authorizations and adhere to all Accounting procedures.
  • Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges.

Guest Service and Quality Assurance

  • Welcome and acknowledge guests warmly, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
  • Provide guests with directions and comprehensive property information.
  • Accommodate guest requests, coordinating with appropriate staff as needed, and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Assist individuals with disabilities and express genuine appreciation to all guests.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards across all service delivery.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Support management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching team members.
  • Serve as a role model and the initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships, fostering team collaboration towards common goals.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or *** equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • No specific license or certification is required for this role.

Workplace Conduct and Physical Demands

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions promptly.
  • Complete all required safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance.
  • Communicate using clear and professional language, both verbally and in written documents.
  • Utilize computers and POS systems for information entry and retrieval.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
