Role Overview: Divisional Product Development Manager

Almarai is seeking a Divisional Product Development Manager (Premier Foods) to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading the end-to-end development of new products and the enhancement of existing product lines within the Premier Foods division. The manager will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are executed to high standards, delivering quality, innovation, and commercial success.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive new product development processes from initial concept through to commercialization.
• Create innovative formulations and actively explore new ingredients and technologies relevant to product development.
• Ensure that all developed products consistently meet Almarai’s established standards for quality, safety, and excellence.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Planning, Sales, and Marketing, to efficiently bring new product concepts to market.

Educational Background and Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Meat Science, Animal Science, Chemistry, or a closely related scientific field.
• Additional certifications in HACCP or quality systems are considered advantageous.

Professional Experience and Technical Skills

• At least 15 years of progressive experience in product development within the protein industry.
• Strong mastery of protein science, processing techniques, marination, ingredient functionality, and the formulation of added-value meat products.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency across multiple product categories and complex production environments.
• Proven experience in applying scientific research principles, conducting thorough data analysis, and effectively solving technical challenges.
• Demonstrated success in launching new meat or protein products and bringing concepts to market.
• Familiarity with food industry regulations and compliance requirements.
