The Role: Divisional Product Development Manager

Almarai is seeking a Divisional Product Development Manager (Premier Chef) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading the end-to-end development of new products and the enhancement of existing product lines, ensuring projects meet high standards for quality, innovation, and commercial success within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive development of new products and the enhancement of existing product lines.
• Drive new product development processes from initial concept through to commercialization.
• Create innovative formulations and explore new ingredients and technologies.
• Ensure all developed products meet Almarai’s established standards for quality, safety, and excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Planning, Sales, and Marketing teams to bring new product concepts to market efficiently and effectively.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in product development, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage product development projects from concept to launch.
• Strong understanding of food science, formulation, and manufacturing processes.
• Proven collaboration and communication skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to drive initiatives and optimize processes in a dynamic environment.
