The Role: Divisional Product Development Manager

Almarai is seeking a Divisional Product Development Manager for its Premier Foods division. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, involves leading the comprehensive development of new products and the enhancement of existing product lines. The Manager is responsible for ensuring that all projects are executed to stringent standards, delivering quality, innovation, and commercial viability.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new product development initiatives from initial concept through to commercialization.
• Develop and refine innovative product formulations.
• Research and explore new ingredients and processing technologies.
• Ensure all products consistently meet Almarai’s established standards for quality, safety, and excellence.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Planning, Sales, and Marketing, to facilitate the efficient and effective launch of new product concepts.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess over 10 years of relevant experience and demonstrate a strong background in product development within the food industry.

• Proven experience in applying scientific research principles, conducting data analysis, and resolving technical challenges.
• Demonstrated success in launching new meat or protein products and bringing concepts to market.
• Familiarity with food industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to drive initiatives, optimize processes, and make a significant impact within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Additional certifications in HACCP or quality systems are considered advantageous.
