About the Role

Sharaf DG is seeking a Cashier to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant cashiering operations while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves handling customer inquiries, billing, returns, warranty cases, and financial transactions in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Point of Sale (POS) transactions and issue receipts accurately.
• Handle various payment methods with precision.
• Ensure zero cash variance and perform daily reconciliation of transactions.
• Prepare deposits and generate Z-out reports.
• Maintain proper cash control procedures and organize the counter area.
• Greet and assist customers professionally, providing accurate information on products, promotions, and policies.
• Manage customer complaints, returns, exchanges, and warranty cases efficiently.
• Oversee customer queues to ensure timely service.
• Follow up on repair and return cases as required.
• Ensure POS systems are fully operational and report any system issues promptly.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), financial controls, and safety guidelines.
• Report suspicious activities to management.
• Dispatch warranty items within the specified Turnaround Time (TAT).
• Track supplier returns and follow up on their status.
• Process customer returns in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience required: 0-1 years in a relevant role.
• Ability to manage financial transactions accurately.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Understanding of retail operations and compliance procedures.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time schedule. The Cashier will contribute to smooth store operations, customer satisfaction, financial accuracy, and loss prevention efforts within the retail environment.
