Civil CAD Draftsman

About the Role

Saudi Consulting Services (Saudconsult) is seeking an experienced Civil CAD Draftsman to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves preparing accurate design and shop drawings for various civil infrastructure projects, utilizing advanced CAD software.

Role Overview

As a Civil CAD Draftsman, you will collaborate closely with civil and highway engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to translate designs, sketches, and field survey data into precise technical drawings. This role requires adherence to approved specifications and relevant authority requirements for all project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare design and shop drawings for roads and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Draft plans, profiles, and cross sections for roads and intersections.
• Develop drawings for water, sewer, and storm drainage networks, including manholes and pavement details.
• Convert field surveys and preliminary sketches into accurate digital drawings.
• Coordinate utility drawings and identify potential clashes.
• Prepare As-Built drawings based on site data collected after project execution.
• Revise and update drawings in response to feedback from engineers, consultants, and clients.
• Extract preliminary quantities from drawings as required for project estimation.
• Ensure all work complies with approved standards and government authority requirements.
• Organize and archive drawings and files in accordance with the established document control system.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Civil CAD Draftsman.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in civil drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering drafting principles and practices.
