About the Opportunity

Sisco, a recruitment consultancy, is actively seeking a Civil Engineer on behalf of a client. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is open to candidates with 0-1 years of professional experience in civil engineering. The client is looking for motivated professionals to contribute to their construction projects.

Role Overview

The Civil Engineer will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating civil construction activities, ensuring projects adhere to approved designs, specifications, and safety standards. This position involves active site presence, technical review, and meticulous documentation to support timely project completion and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction activities to ensure execution aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate daily site operations with contractors, supervisors, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Review engineering drawings, layouts, quantities, and technical documentation prior to implementation.
• Monitor construction quality and ensure strict compliance with applicable project and safety standards.
• Track project progress and provide support to ensure civil works are completed according to established schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify construction or quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with quantity estimation, material requirement assessments, measurements, and comprehensive site documentation.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and maintain accurate records of all site activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong foundational understanding of core civil and construction engineering principles.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and coordinate various construction activities.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
• Understanding of construction inspection processes and quality assurance requirements.
• Ability to effectively coordinate site resources and manage project activities.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working directly for Sisco's client. The role requires on-site presence and active engagement with project teams and stakeholders.
