Civil Engineer

About the Role

Duncan & Ross Consulting is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on leading civil, structural, and architectural activities related to the restoration of facility buildings and hangars. The role ensures that all affected structures and finishes are properly assessed, safely repaired, and handed over in accordance with approved designs, applicable codes, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review structural assessments, concrete test results, and consultant recommendations.
• Evaluate contractor method statements, risk assessments, and temporary works designs.
• Develop civil and architectural technical input for scopes of work, tender documents, and bills of quantities.
• Perform technical evaluations of bidder and contractor proposals.
• Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings.
• Supervise the repair, strengthening, or replacement of affected structural elements.
• Oversee roofing, façades, partitions, ceilings, flooring, finishes, and fire-rated assemblies.
• Verify and approve as-built drawings, inspection records, and handover documentation.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Civil Engineer position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, particularly with a focus on structural and architectural restoration projects.
