Civil Estimation Engineer

About the Role

Abyatona Contracting & Development is seeking a Civil Estimation Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves comprehensive estimation tasks for civil engineering projects, ensuring accuracy in material quantities, cost analysis, and bid preparation. The role requires a professional with significant experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs by accurately interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and site plans to calculate exact material quantities.
• Conduct detailed rate analysis to determine current market prices for concrete, steel, earthworks, labor rates, and equipment rentals.
• Prepare comprehensive tender and bid documents, including commercial proposals, cost comparison sheets, and bid summaries.
• Evaluate subcontractors and suppliers by requesting, reviewing, and leveling quotes from external vendors and subcontractors.
• Support the processing of change orders and variations, including budget revisions, project claims, and cost adjustments.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in civil estimation is required.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical skills for accurate quantity take-offs and rate analysis.
• Experience in preparing detailed commercial proposals and bid documents.
