CIVIL QUALITY CONTROL FOREMAN

About the Role

Atwar Alkon is seeking a Civil Quality Control Foreman to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on ensuring adherence to approved drawings and specifications, maintaining quality, and upholding safety standards across construction, infrastructure, or road works projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce approved drawings and specifications at the work front before, during, and after each activity.
• Conduct pre-pour, pre-cover, and other hold-point checks, including formwork, rebar, levels, and alignment, prior to consultant inspection.
• Complete and maintain daily QC checklists and inspection records for each work front.
• Report non-conformances to the QC Engineer immediately and halt work when quality or safety is at risk.
• Coordinate directly with foremen and labor crews to rectify deficiencies before re-inspection.
• Support material sampling and testing on site, such as concrete cubes and soil compaction, as directed by the QC Engineer.
• Maintain organized work-front records for handover into the project's QC documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience as a Civil QC Foreman on construction, infrastructure, or road works projects.
• Preference for candidates with prior experience at NEOM, Saudi Aramco, Almarai, or comparable large-scale giga-project/industrial environments.
• Diploma or vocational qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology. Formal QC training is considered a plus.
• Practical, on-the-ground knowledge of formwork, rebar fixing, concrete pouring, earthworks, and pavement works, including their QC checkpoints.
• Ability to read and work from approved drawings, checklists, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) at the work-front.
• Comfortable supervising labor crews directly and coordinating hold points with the QC Engineer and site supervision team.
• A valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
