About the Role

Norconsult Telematics is seeking a Cloud Expert to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves leading the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift container platforms across data centers. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in cloud technologies.

Position Overview

The Cloud Expert will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that integrate networking, storage, and automation frameworks. This role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams and technology partners to ensure seamless integration and adherence to governance policies. Key activities include driving architectural reviews, conducting proof-of-concepts, and facilitating technical enablement to enhance operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Red Hat OpenShift architecture for scalability, security, and high availability across multiple data centers.
• Define infrastructure topology, network segmentation, and storage integration in alignment with enterprise standards.
• Oversee end-to-end OpenShift deployment, including integration with LDAP/AD, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring platforms.
• Implement governance, RBAC, OAuth, and ensure security compliance with CIS and NCA benchmarks.
• Collaborate with network, storage, and DevOps teams to optimize performance and operational efficiency.
• Conduct architecture reviews, proof-of-concepts, and partner with vendors for solution validation and best practices.
• Provide documentation, technical training, and knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
• Support automation initiatives using Ansible, Helm, and GitOps practices for streamlined cluster management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in OpenShift / Kubernetes architecture and administration.
• Proven expertise in container networking, CNI plugins, and multi-cluster connectivity.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, automation frameworks (Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD), and GitOps practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Language Proficiency

• Proficiency in English is required.
• Arabic language proficiency is considered an added advantage.
