Cloud Infrastructure Senior Officer

About the Role

J-B is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Senior Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing and supporting our cloud infrastructure environment, with a primary focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), system administration, DevOps automation, security protocols, and compliance standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) components, including compute, storage, networking, and monitoring solutions.
• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Shell scripting, or PowerShell.
• Provide support for CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git environments.
• Ensure infrastructure security, including patching, backup procedures, and disaster recovery planning.
• Support compliance with NCA, SAMA, and general cybersecurity requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud and infrastructure-related issues efficiently.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud infrastructure and system administration, coupled with a commitment to maintaining secure and compliant environments.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, System Administration, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows Server administration.
• Experience with DevOps and automation tools, including Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD platforms, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security principles, backup strategies, and disaster recovery processes.

Preferred Attributes

• Familiarity with NCA/SAMA compliance requirements.
