About the Role

TestCrew | Quality Engineering & Software Testing is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on the design, implementation, management, and optimization of enterprise cloud and infrastructure platforms, with a primary emphasis on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Role Overview

The Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer will be responsible for building and operating reliable, scalable, secure, and highly available cloud and platform infrastructure. The position requires strong hands-on experience with OCI, Linux, infrastructure automation, networking, security, Terraform, and Ansible.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
• Support OCI architecture, deployment, operations, and troubleshooting.
• Manage Linux-based infrastructure and enterprise cloud platforms.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation workflows using GitLab.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking, routing, connectivity, DNS, load balancing, and security controls.
• Implement infrastructure security, hardening, access controls, and operational security best practices.
• Monitor platform health, availability, capacity, and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity requirements.
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, networking, and application teams to deliver secure and reliable platforms.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform reliability.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in cloud and platform engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proficiency in Linux administration.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles.
