Cloud Integration Engineer

About the Role

Ericsson is seeking a Cloud Integration Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves analyzing, preparing, implementing, and verifying the configuration and integration of Ericsson Cloud Solutions. The scope of work includes new introductions, upgrades, expansions, functionality rollouts, and capacity enhancements, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Context and Scope

The Cloud Integration Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration and optimal performance of cloud solutions. This position requires on-site presence and may involve overnight work and travel, depending on project requirements and rollout schedules. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to advancing cloud technology within a diverse team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, prepare, verify, and implement the integration of Ericsson Cloud Solutions.
• Plan and drive product configuration and integration activities.
• Execute product configuration, integration, and migration activities.
• Prepare and execute system testing, module testing, and acceptance testing.
• Identify issues, propose improvements, and drive continuous optimization processes.
• Support post-project activities, including handover, documentation, and stabilization.
• Understand the end-to-end technical solution and its dependencies.
• Support pre-sales activities, including pre-studies, as needed.
• Develop scripts and automation solutions, including coding as required.
• Share knowledge and collaborate effectively within and across teams.
• Be available for on-site work, overnight activities, and travel when project needs dictate.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in private cloud deployments (IaaS/CaaS).
• Solid Linux administration skills and hands-on practice.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (L2/L3, routing, switching).
• Good understanding of storage concepts (SAN/NAS, block/object storage).
• Familiarity with 3PP hardware (*, Dell, HPE, Lenovo).
