About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a dedicated Color Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to our product development and customer engagement strategies, focusing on the creation and management of paint color palettes.

Role Overview

The Color Specialist will be responsible for designing and presenting paint colors, ensuring they meet both aesthetic standards and customer demands. This role involves a combination of creative design, technical execution, market analysis, and collaborative work to maintain Jazeera Paints' leadership in color innovation and merchandising. The specialist will contribute to the overall brand image through their expertise in color and visual communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Design paint colors, both digitally and physically, for use in showrooms and color books.
• Interpret customer needs, coordinate color schemes, and present creative ideas and alternative solutions.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of top-selling colors to inform future design decisions.
• Provide backup support for virtual color consultations as needed.
• Engage and collaborate effectively with other Color Consultants within the team.
• Track and analyze competitive color merchandising strategies, emerging trends, and innovations within the paint industry.
• Perform corrections, retouching, manipulation, resizing, and apply various effects, finishes, or textures to photography, colors, images, and palettes.
• Develop compelling ad-copy and text for merchandising materials to enhance visual images and accurately represent collection themes, trends, or specific topics.
• Maintain an organized archive of all color samples.
• Assist in branding efforts across print, design, retail, and the overall company image.
• Execute all assigned activities using safe and environmentally friendly methods.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.

Required Skills and Attributes

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of color theory and design principles, coupled with proficiency in digital tools for image and color manipulation. Essential attributes include strong communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration, an analytical mindset for market trend assessment, and creative writing abilities for merchandising content. A commitment to detail and an organized approach to archiving are also crucial.

Work Environment and Collaboration

This full-time position is based in Riyadh and operates within a dynamic and collaborative team environment. The Color Specialist will work closely with other Color Consultants and various departments, contributing to a shared vision for color innovation. Adherence to safe and environmentally friendly work practices is a fundamental expectation for all tasks.
