About the Role

PepsiCo is seeking a Communications Manager Brand & Business for its Middle East Foods division. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involves leading the development and execution of the communications agenda for PepsiCo’s foods portfolio across the Middle East, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The role aims to build brand relevance, strengthen reputation, and drive earned engagement through various communication channels.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the integrated communications strategy for PepsiCo’s foods portfolio across the Middle East, aligning with brand and business priorities.
  • Lead the creation and execution of annual PR and influencer plans for priority food brands and campaigns, ensuring adherence to brand objectives and PepsiCo guidelines.
  • Partner with marketing teams to identify opportunities for communications support and amplification across key campaigns, launches, and consumer activations.
  • Identify, develop, and execute brand-led communications initiatives that enhance brand relevance, reputation, and cultural connection beyond traditional campaign amplification.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report communications performance, media sentiment, and campaign impact, providing insights and recommendations.

Business Communications Leadership

  • Lead communications and storytelling for key foods business priorities, including agriculture, manufacturing, innovation, R&D, and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to showcase PepsiCo’s contributions and impact across the region.
  • Identify and secure relevant speaking, media, and external engagement opportunities for marketing leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Support communications planning and execution for key business milestones, site visits, launches, and external engagements related to the foods business.

Stakeholder Engagement and Content Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with media, content creators, influencers, and industry stakeholders in priority markets.
  • Lead the development and management of strategic brand partnerships with media platforms and cultural partners.
  • Manage agency partners from briefing through execution and evaluation, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective budget management.
  • Oversee the development, localization, and quality control of communications materials, including press releases, media statements, and influencer content, in English and Arabic.
  • Partner with marketing and legal teams to provide communications guidance on social media content, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and local market sensitivities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies and plans.
  • Proven experience in media relations, influencer engagement, and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Proficiency in developing and localizing communications materials in both English and Arabic.
