About the Role
Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences is seeking a Conference & Events Assistant Sales Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is responsible for supporting sales strategies to maximize event revenue and contribute to delivering memorable guest experiences.
Role Overview
The Assistant Sales Manager works closely with the Groups, Conference and Events Sales Manager. The primary objective is to drive conference and banqueting revenue and profit through proactive selling, efficient calendar management, and strategic pricing. This role also involves upholding high standards across all conference and events sales processes to ensure client satisfaction and event success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Groups, Conference and Events Sales Manager in driving conference and banqueting revenue and profit through proactive selling, calendar management, and pricing strategy.
- Uphold high standards across all conference and events sales processes, including accurate quoting and consistent vendor pricing across channels.
- Partner with HR and commercial leaders to ensure appropriate delivery of onboarding and training plans for Revenue, Reservations, and Conference & Events teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are understood and met throughout the planning process, contributing to a seamless event experience.
- Maintain internal controls to ensure all sales processes align with Hilton standards, hotel brand guidelines, and operational policies.
- Support and participate in promotional initiatives to increase hotel visibility and attract new business opportunities.
