Consulting Engineer (R&S SDA & Wireless)

About the Role

Cisco is seeking a Consulting Engineer (R&S, SDA, & Wireless) to join the Customer Experience (CX) Professional Services team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves partnering with premier enterprise clients to lead end-to-end network modernization initiatives across complex campus and data center environments. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Team and Impact

The senior engineering team within CX Professional Services drives high-impact delivery across enterprise routing, switching, and high-density wireless technologies. The team fosters an inclusive, high-performance culture focused on technical authority, continuous innovation, and trusted customer advisory. As a Consulting Engineer, you will serve as the lead technical advisor for complex customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Steer the design, deployment, migration, and optimization of critical enterprise network architectures.
• Lead advanced multi-domain initiatives, architecting robust wired and wireless solutions using Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.
• Manage complex routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, and high-availability switching fabrics to enhance resilience and performance.
• Architect and deploy enterprise solutions across SDA fabrics (Catalyst Center, ISE, LISP/VXLAN, TrustSec) and high-density wireless networks.
• Review and approve technical work, integrating AI-driven automation workflows using Python or Ansible.
• Provide support for critical customer outages and mentor delivery peers within the professional services organization.

Required Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise routing, switching, and high-density wireless technologies.
• Proficiency in managing complex routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and high-availability switching fabrics.
• Experience with SDA fabrics, including Catalyst Center, ISE, LISP/VXLAN, and TrustSec.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Python or Ansible.
