Content Creator & Video Editor

About the Role

VIPKid is seeking a Content Creator & Video Editor to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing and editing video content primarily for Saudi parents across various social media platforms and paid campaigns. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in content creation and video editing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop video concepts for Saudi parents and create engaging Arabic scripts, talking points, and storyboards.
• Provide direction to content creators on filming requirements and offer practical feedback on footage, including requests for reshoots.
• Edit creator footage into final videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, Snapchat, and paid campaigns, ensuring inclusion of captions, sound, and appropriate format variations.
• Experiment with different opening hooks, story angles, and calls to action, and refine content based on viewing data, click-through rates, and parent inquiries.
• Collaborate with colleagues in creator partnerships, design, and paid media, while maintaining organized records of footage, edits, and usage permissions.

Required Qualifications

• Saudi nationality and current residency in Saudi Arabia, with a strong understanding of local family life, culture, and social media trends.
• Excellent Arabic writing and speaking skills, including a natural Saudi dialect, along with working proficiency in English.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in content creation, short-form video editing, or social media management, demonstrating the ability to take a script through to a finished video.
• Practical skills in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software.
• A portfolio showcasing contributions to content creation and examples of how content was improved through audience feedback. Experience in education or family-focused content is considered an advantage.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring collaboration with various internal teams to produce engaging digital content.
