Continuous Improvement Specialist

About the Role

Afaq Q Tech General Trading is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, As Sulay. This full-time role involves contributing to a newly formed organization focused on designing and launching new business models. The specialist will play a key part in redefining fast delivery services and supporting the operational aspects of store operations.

Role Context and Objectives

This position is integral to Amazon Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) operations, specifically within the Ultra Fast Grocery operations. The specialist will contribute to achieving and exceeding operational expectations by focusing on productivity, quality, and safety. The overall mission is to enhance customer experience by enabling discovery and innovation in online retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead learning and development initiatives across Amazon Now KSA RDC.
• Drive effective solutions to address quality issues and network losses in KSA hubs.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies for day-to-day operations.
• Manage end-to-end operations for a combination of small sites on a daily basis.
• Supervise last-mile operations to ensure efficiency.
• Meet customer-facing metrics while maintaining cost targets and upholding team safety and morale.
• Drive performance management for team members.
• Prepare and implement training and development plans for riders.
• Continuously improve the delivery process to achieve sustained performance enhancement.
• Conduct daily 4M and 5S audits for the delivery station.
• Act as a stand-in for the ACES Manager when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results in an operational environment.
• Experience in motivating, coaching, reporting, and providing feedback on associate performance.
• Familiarity with implementing and administering company policies fairly and consistently.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, As Sulay. The role involves working within a dynamic operational setting, contributing to the development and execution of new business models in a fast-paced environment.
