About Hill International
Hill International, Inc. is seeking an Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is part of the Saudisation initiative, focusing on comprehensive contract management within the company's operations.
Role Overview: Engineer (Saudisation)
The Engineer will be responsible for managing contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards, and actively mitigating potential risks. This role involves providing essential support to project stakeholders and internal teams to maintain efficient and compliant contractual processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate contract documents to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure favorable outcomes for the company while minimizing risk exposure.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop, maintain, and standardize contract templates and operating procedures.
- Provide expert guidance and support to project managers and other stakeholders on all contract-related matters.
- Monitor and track contract performance, including the timely delivery of deliverables, achievement of milestones, and processing of payments.
- Identify and proactively mitigate contract risks, proposing effective solutions to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Prepare and maintain accurate, up-to-date contract files and comprehensive documentation.
- Support the management of the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation through closeout, including modifications and extensions.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in contract management to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with legal counsel as necessary to address and resolve complex contract issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in contract management or a similar field. A strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks governing contracts is essential.
