Corporate Strategy Management Manager

About the Role

alfanar Group is seeking a Corporate Strategy Management Manager to lead the development, execution, and governance of the company’s corporate strategy. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and involves providing strategic direction supported by market intelligence, competitive analysis, and external insights to enable informed decision-making, organizational alignment, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and periodic review of the corporate strategy, defining strategic objectives, priorities, initiatives, and long-term targets, ensuring alignment with organizational capabilities and market conditions.
• Manage annual and long-term strategic planning cycles, translating priorities into actionable plans, milestones, and performance measures, and monitoring execution to address risks and gaps.
• Guide market intelligence research covering industries, competitors, technologies, and emerging opportunities, translating external developments into strategic implications and recommendations.
• Lead strategic studies, including growth, market-entry, diversification, partnership, and investment assessments, evaluating options based on strategic fit, commercial potential, and risk.
• Ensure business unit strategies align with corporate priorities, establish strategy management frameworks, and facilitate strategy discussions with leadership and stakeholders.
• Build relationships with senior leadership and business units, directing corporate strategy and market intelligence activities, and managing team priorities and performance.
• Improve strategic planning, intelligence, monitoring, and reporting practices, leveraging research platforms, analytics, digital tools, and AI for enhanced decision support.

Accountabilities and Performance

• Recruit, cultivate, and recognize high performers to build a robust second line of management, and guide low performers for improvement or release.
• Ensure fair treatment of subordinates, with performance as the primary assessment criterion.
• Take full responsibility for operations and deliverables, anticipating problems and taking proactive steps.
• Deliver required results in a timely manner, meeting quality and cost standards.
• Make a tangible difference in the area of operation, exceeding business expectations.
• Transform corporate goals into business plans, monitor performance, and initiate corrective actions.
• Develop the organizational structure, ensure job descriptions are available, and promote process improvements through well-defined systems and automation.
• Maintain quality as a prime competitive advantage and adapt to new techniques, technologies, and business models.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic development, planning, and execution.
• Proficiency in market intelligence, competitive analysis, and strategic insights.
• Experience in organizational alignment and governance frameworks.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to navigate and promote IT solutions relevant to the business.
