About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Corporate Strategy Management Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading the development, execution, and governance of the company’s corporate strategy. The manager will provide strategic direction, supported by market intelligence, competitive analysis, and external insights, to facilitate informed decision-making, organizational alignment, and sustainable growth. The position requires over 10 years of relevant experience.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the development and periodic review of the corporate strategy, defining strategic objectives, priorities, initiatives, and long-term targets.
• Ensure the strategy reflects organizational capabilities and external market conditions.
• Lead annual and long-term strategic planning cycles, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, milestones, and performance measures.
• Monitor strategy execution and address significant risks, gaps, and dependencies.
• Guide research covering markets, industries, competitors, technologies, and emerging opportunities, translating external developments into strategic implications and recommendations.
• Oversee scenario planning and assessments of potential opportunities and disruptions.
• Lead growth, market-entry, diversification, partnership, and investment assessments, evaluating strategic options based on strategic fit, commercial potential, and risk.
• Prepare executive reports, presentations, and recommendations to support key decisions.
• Ensure business unit strategies and plans align with corporate priorities, establishing strategy management frameworks, methodologies, and governance processes.
• Facilitate strategy discussions and alignment sessions with leadership and stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with senior leadership and business units, directing corporate strategy, market intelligence, and strategic insight activities.
• Manage team priorities, resources, deliverables, performance, and capability development.
• Improve strategic planning, intelligence, monitoring, and reporting practices, leveraging research platforms, analytics, digital tools, and AI to strengthen strategic decision support.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers to create a robust second line of management.
• Recognize low performers and guide them to improve or manage their exit.
• Treat subordinates equally without discrimination, assessing performance based on results.
• Ensure the availability of a delegation of authority matrix as per company policy.
• Take full responsibility for operations as per the job description and deliverables, adhering to company guidelines.
• Anticipate problems and take proactive steps to prevent them, making timely and proper decisions.
• Deliver required results in a timely manner with specified quality and cost.
• Make a tangible difference in the area of operation and exceed business expectations.

Business Planning and Development

• Transform corporate goals into business plans, and plan, follow up, and execute annual and development plans.
• Monitor plan performance, initiate actions to strengthen results, and take corrective measures.
• Provide periodic work progress reports and control budgets and expenses for optimum cost efficiency.
• Develop the organizational structure based on current requirements and future development plans.
• Ensure job descriptions are available for all roles and deployed.

Process Improvement and Quality

• Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
• Be conversant with and able to navigate IT solutions relevant to the job and business, promoting their full use.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess more than 10 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy management.
