About the Role

Marina Home Interiors is seeking a Country Manager to lead its full-time business operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This pivotal leadership position is responsible for launching the brand, establishing the operational infrastructure, and driving the expansion of showrooms across strategic, high-traffic locations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Strategic Impact

The Country Manager will play a critical role in establishing Marina Home Interiors' presence in the KSA market. This involves navigating local regulations, understanding market dynamics, and executing a comprehensive strategy to ensure financial efficiency and sustainable growth in the home fashion and luxury retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment of a 100% foreign legal entity in KSA.
• Develop the KSA business plan, including revenue projections, investment requirements, operating costs, profitability targets, and a long-term growth roadmap.
• Define and agree upon clear measures for operational profitability, top-line expansion, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Operating Expenses (OPEX), and Return on Invested Capital (ROIC).
• Liaise with governmental and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary licenses and permits.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive market development plan and go-to-market strategies tailored to the KSA market, enabling financial efficiency.
• Secure prime locations for showroom openings, conduct breakeven analysis, and oversee agreements, fit-out, design, and brand launch.
• Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, the competitive landscape, pricing strategies, product preferences, and opportunities within the KSA home fashion/luxury retail market.
• Drive revenue growth and brand awareness through strategic partnerships, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement.
• Build and lead operations in KSA across various functions, ensuring high standards of service, operational efficiency, and effective inventory management.
• Monitor P&L performance and accountability, manage reporting and analytics, and oversee budgets.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully launching businesses and expanding operations in KSA.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi retail landscape and local regulatory environment.
• Over 10 years of relevant professional experience.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must be currently based in KSA.
