The Role: Crane Rigger

Limak Al-Ayuni JV is seeking a Crane Rigger to join its project team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting heavy lifting and crane operations for major infrastructure projects. The role requires candidates with 0-1 years of experience in rigging or related fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and inspect lifting gear to ensure operational safety.
• Rig loads accurately in accordance with specified lift plans.
• Signal or direct crane operators to facilitate the safe and efficient movement of materials.
• Assess load weight and balance to determine appropriate lifting procedures.
• Select the correct lifting equipment for various tasks.
• Attach and secure loads properly before lifting operations commence.
• Verify that all operations adhere to site safety procedures and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors, engineers, and equipment operators.
• Participate actively in toolbox talks to review daily tasks and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate rigging logs and inspection records.
• Assist in the setup and demobilization of cranes and associated lifting equipment as project activities require.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in crane rigging or a related heavy lifting environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of lifting gear inspection and maintenance.
• Ability to interpret lift plans and execute rigging tasks safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with site safety procedures and regulatory standards for lifting operations.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with crane operators and project teams.
