About the Role

Trivers is seeking a Credit & Collection Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing business-to-customer (BTC) credit and collection operations, analyzing credit risk, and overseeing the collection of outstanding debts. The manager will assess creditworthiness, set credit limits, implement collection strategies, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage BTC credit and collection operations, ensuring accuracy and transparency while enhancing customer experience.
• Develop and implement credit and collection strategies to achieve organizational goals.
• Set customer communication parameters and protocols to maintain positive customer relationships.
• Communicate credit policies and procedures to internal stakeholders and provide guidance on credit-related matters.
• Set collection targets for the team and monitor individual performance daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of credit and collection professionals, providing training and development opportunities.
• Evaluate and analyze the creditworthiness of new and existing customers using credit reports and financial statements.
• Establish and maintain credit limits based on risk assessment and company policies.
• Manage the collection of outstanding debts, ensuring timely payments and minimizing delinquency.
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies, including payment plans and negotiations.
• Track and report on key collection metrics such as aging reports and days sales outstanding (DSO).
• Support and educate the customer experience team on customer engagement programs and journey standards.
• Review and analyze customer feedback related to the credit & collection department.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and third-party partners.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in credit and collection management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team of credit and collection professionals.
• Experience in analyzing credit risk and managing debt collection.
• Familiarity with credit reporting agencies, collection agencies, and legal firms.

Internal and External Interactions

This role requires regular interaction with various internal and external stakeholders. Internally, the Credit & Collection Manager will collaborate with the CFO, Credit & Collection Committee members, and cross-functional teams such as Sales, Customer Experience, and Finance. Externally, interactions will include customers, external credit reporting agencies, collection agencies, legal firms, government entities, and electronic archiving companies.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a team focused on optimizing cash flow and minimizing bad debt while maintaining positive customer relationships.
