About the Role

Tandem Interim is seeking a Credit Risk Manager for a 6-month contract position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role will provide essential support to the Credit Risk team, focusing specifically on the SME lending portfolio. The position involves managing credit risk across secured, unsecured, and program-based lending activities.

Role Context

This secondment opportunity is designed to leverage expertise in credit risk management within the SME sector. The Credit Risk Manager will contribute to the effective oversight and management of credit exposures within the bank's Small and Medium-sized Enterprise lending operations. The duration of this contract is approximately 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Credit Risk team in managing the SME lending portfolio.
• Oversee credit risk across secured, unsecured, and program-based lending.
• Conduct credit and financial statement analysis.
• Collaborate with business, product, and legal teams on credit-related matters.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of credit policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of banking experience.
• Substantial experience in credit risk management or SME/commercial lending.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong credit analysis and financial statement analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant reporting tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across different teams.

Preferred Experience

• A solid understanding of SME lending products and associated risks for secured, unsecured, and program-based lending.
• Experience with overseeing program-based lending criteria, scorecards, or decisioning rules.
